I love books!!! ... and I'm glad I have children who love books too :)  So off we went to the 2011 Manila International Book Fair at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia.

First stop... Church Strengthening Ministry, Inc. booth... books and cds at P100 each

I bought two books authored by Ms. Lizette Knight... and had them autographed!

Sarah went hunting for sheet music at I-Wagon, while Moji took the Reading and Math Assessment at the Scholastic booth...
Congrats to Moji... one of the top scorers in Math... got 2 free books from Scholastic, YEY~

Dropped by 702 DZAS booth... they had just finished their broadcast for the day.  Nice to see Nemia still hanging around... and glad to meet Ms. Carmen Go-Vargas~

Hannah bought a book from CLC Bookstore... everything P99 only.  While I bought a couple of magazines from Summit Media... back issues for only P50 each!
Preview magazine, July 2011 issue... it has an insert with cardboard couture... it's been a while since I've played with paperdolls... I love it!!!

 My MIBF2011 hand stamp :)

With tired aching feet, growling stomachs, empty pockets and books in tow, it's time to leave the fair... till next year~

  1. Gosh! I should be saving now for the next book fair. :)

  2. Look at that! I was planning to go to this book fair but due to hectic work priorities, I was not able to attend. Damn!

    Keep loving books! =)

  3. Hi michymoo... it's so tempting to buy, especially at P99/P100 only and so many titles to choose from... magazines P50 only for back issues... and my kids wanted at least a book each syempre, hahaha!

Hi Vallarfax... thanks for dropping by... maybe we'll cross paths next book fair :)

  4. wow, you went too!

I had a bigger loot than you... Only 2 books? Why? there are so many great titles and deals...

  5. Hi Thirdy... I read your blog. Yes, you had a bigger loot... but aside from the two books I had autographed, I also bought books for a friend and my kids, of course, a couple of magazines and sheet music... wish I had a bigger budget though, I would have bought more :)
